Wedding Inspiration

A few months ago I had the privilege of being asked to work on a Styled Shoot that Renée Dalo, planner and wedding educator extraordinaire, of Moxie Bright Events was planning. It was at a new venue in Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District called The East Angel, and included an all-star vendor team. How could I not say yes!? As a wedding videographer, styled shoots are a great opportunity to really focus on getting the shots you want, and try out something new creatively, without the pressures of a normal wedding-day timeline, as well as make some new friends along the way. Well, I guess all our creativity and hard work paid off, because this styled shoot was just published and featured on Green Wedding Shoes! For those of you in the wedding industry, you already know the significance of this, but for those of you who are not, to put it simply, THIS. IS. HUGE! They are considered one of the top wedding blogs, and being featured on their site is a huge honor.

Every one of the vendors that worked on this shoot brought their A-game. It also helped that the models were an actual couple! So not only were they pros in knowing how to pose and take direction, but their interactions and chemistry with one another were genuine and that really came across on camera. The venue was the perfect blank canvas to create the look that we wanted, and the owners were so accommodating to our needs and just all around good people.
